Amber is an experienced Clinical Social Worker and Trauma Integration Clinician (CTIC) with a passion for supporting children, adolescents, adults, and families as they navigate life’s emotional, relational, and developmental challenges.

Drawing on attachment theory, trauma-informed practice, neuroscience, and evidence-based therapeutic approaches, Amber strives to create a space where children feel understood, parents feel supported, and families can develop stronger, healthier connections.

Amber also recognizes the complexities of motherhood, including the mental load, emotional exhaustion, shifting identities, and the challenges of balancing personal needs with the needs of others. Amber believes that supporting the well-being of mothers is an important part of supporting the well-being of families.

Amber’s approach emphasizes self-understanding, emotional regulation, self-compassion, and the development of healthier ways of relating to ourselves and others.

Ambers clinical background includes training and experience in grief counselling, attachment-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), play therapy, family therapy, and trauma integration.
